Papercut Pty Ltd is a graphic design company, we provide a fully integrated range of design, print management and distribution services to our valued clients. This statement represents our general position on environmental issues and the policies and practices we will apply in conducting our business. Papercut seeks excellence in every aspect of our business and is committed to minimising the environmental impacts of our business operations.
We believe that sound environmental performance contributes to our competitive strength and benefits our customers, our employees and the wider community. To achieve our environmental goals we are committed to the principle of continual improvement and prevention of pollution. We have developed a framework to ensure that our activities and services comply with all applicable environmental standards and contribute to the well being of the communities in which we operate.
Our Environmental Philosophy
- Strive to continually improve our environmental performance and integrate recognised applicable best practice into our business operations.
- Reduce our consumption of resources and improve efficiency in the use of these resources through the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC).
- Incorporate environmental better practice into our core management processes and operations.
- Ensure environmental criteria are taken into account in the procurement of goods and services.
- Review our activities to develop objectives and targets to minimize the impact of our business on the local environment.
- Provide information on our environmental initiatives to the public through our website and publications.
- Help conserve resources by the design and production of products to reduce the use of raw materials, packaging and energy in manufacture, and by recycling production wastes.
- Minimise negative impacts we may have on the environment, through efficient use of resources, and reduction in emissions and waste including reuse and recycling where practicable.
- Engender environmental awareness amongst all staff in order to work together to achieve agreed environmental outcomes and build a strong environmental ethos.
- Ensure we work closely with our customers, suppliers, local communities, and other interested parties to continually improve our processes in environmental better practice.
